Created during the 1910s, the company made and retailed laboratory measuring apparatus - balances, glass wear, ovens, photocolorimètric instruments much of this material being supplied by Adnet. It became a limited company in 1925 with a capital of 3 250 000 francs divided into 32,500 shares. En 1936 Raymond Citerne (ESPCI 1917) was appointed technical director before becoming Assistant General Director in 1949. Much of the company's subsequent scientific development was owed to him. Medical apparatus was also manufactured (1). C.1970 the company was acquired by Searle, St Nazaire.
