Biographie

A bookseller-publisher specialised in geography. From at least 1825 Andriveaux-Goujon was selling globes by Delamarche, Lapie, and Dien. Particularly well-known for his maps, he exhibited at the major exhibitions from 1834 obtaining several medals. The globe designed by Picard for Chancourtois’ spherographic geology was published by Andriveaux (1). The business was subsequently continued by Girard & Barrère who combined it with that of Forest (2).
