Biographie
Optician, was the successor of P. Roulot and a member of the Société Française de Physique. He created a number of specialised instruments such as the 'perimeter' for investigating the sensitivity of the retina, or the chromatophotomètre of Colardeau, Tzarn & Chibret; and Crètes' opthalmic prism for measuring a patient's convergence angle (1).
