Biographie

Founded in 1831 by Emile Deyrolle the business was specialised in natural history and included a range of diatom slide mounts (1) for microscopes in their wide-ranging stock. Among this were inevitably microscopes, optical apparatus and items for natural history collecting and classifying. The business was continued by Emile's sons. Between 1901 and 1904, they published the four volumes of the sale catalogue of the natural history library of Alphonse Milne-Edwards (1835-1900).
The business was absorbed into the EUROSAP group in 1958, it then passed to the group LME-DIDALAB, which was still trading in 2008.
