Biographie
A geographical publishing company probably founded c. 1805 by Gilbert Andriveaux. In 1825. J. Andriveaux took over the retail map business of J. Goujon, his father-in-law, whose name he added to his own (1). His successors appear to have been G.G. Andriveaux-Goujon, Eugène Andriveaux-Goujon, and J. Andriveaux. A related firm of Sauret Andriveaux published atlases in 1843 and is also known by an orrery.
