Balance-makers also known as the 'Balancerie Générale de Lyon'. In 1909 they were awarded patent no. 379.651 for a blocking mechanism which fixed a coin-balance in position until the coin to be weighed had been introduced. Permission for use of the devise was given by a Ministry of Commerce & Industryt circular (No 174), of 2 April 1909.
