Biographie

was one of the associates in the Artistes associés du Cloître Notre Dame in 1795, his age being given as 35 in a document of 1794 (1). A rule for converting between old and metric measures by him is known (2). He is probably to be identified with the Pierre Bernier free of the Founders’ Corporation on 10 July 1781 (3) but perhaps. working with his father before this date (4).
