Biographie
A barometer and thermometer maker who later produced apparatus for physics and chemistry . He was succeeded by Bodeur (1). His identity with 'Carcano l'ainé', Place Dauphine, Paris, whose signature is found on a barometer dial and in directories, remains to be demonstrated (2).
