1 Musée du Louvre, landau coillection see Frémontier 197 N° 104. The globe, which is made in tgwo hemispheres, has a diameter of 67mm;, marks stars up to the sixth magnitude, some nebulae and has pierced star shapes. It was originally mounted, and probably made part of a larger instrument. The signature inscription reads, 'Johannes Martginot/Lingonensis fecit/ Anno 1609'.
