The company was founded at the instance of Ginat, professor of Physics, by Albert Lefebvre, to manufacture physics apparatus and laboratory equipment (1).In February 1958 it was registered as a limited company under the name of 'Lefebvre-Labo' with Albert Lefebvre as managing director, Michel Lefebvre, assistant director, in charge of the technical aspects, and Rober Saunier of the commercial side.
