Worked with Bariquand on instruments at the Bureau International des poids et mesures, making additional parts for the 'comparateur universel' which, made by Starke & Kammerer in Vienna, had been delivered on 4 November 1882. They also made the small 'comparateur' designed by Benoît and Guillaume.1 The partnership continued into the 20th century, perhaps with a formal constitution, to be absorbed by an English group towards the end of the period.
