Biographie
A doctor, Allevy invented and commercialised a group of mnemo-technic devices, one of which was a perpetual calendar. Exploitation of this group of products was continued by Allevy's sons Alcide and Achille who exhibited them at both the 1839 and 1844 exhibitions. At the latter a copy of the fourth edition of the calendar was purchased by Louis Phillippe.1
