Biographie
An itinerant instrument-maker who signed an astrolabe from Paris in 1580 , and other instruments from Venice, Mantua and Antwerp. He had matriculated at the University of Louvain on 31 August 1564 and is described as 'Angiensis' which may imply that he came from Enghien-les-Bains although there is also an Enghien in the Low Coutries. Nothing else is known about him, although as the style of his instruments is heavily influenced by that of the Arsenius workshop in Louvain he may be assumed to have trained or worked there.1
