was presumably composed through the amalgamation of several smaller enterprises since it announced itself as 'Fabriques réunies de baromètres anéroïdes, thermomètres, appareils et instruments de précision divers'. A branch also existed at Roda-Ilmenau (Saxe - Weimar) in Germany. The 'various precision instruments' were primarily alcoholometers, densimeters, lactometers, saccharimeters and other instruments of the same family.
