- Biographie
- A balance-maker, the son of Jean-Pierre Bergeon (qv) to whom he was apprenticed in 1765. Free in 1773 he was a Juré of the corporation from 1781-86 and inspector of wieghts for the city in 1783. His mark was a double 'JB' and key crowned surmounted by a crowned 'D' for Lyon.1
