Biographie
The son of Néerée Boubée, E. Boubée renamed his father's business the 'Comptoir Central d'Histoire Naturelle'. He described his specimens carefully and had a personal mineraloigical collection which was eventually sold to the Sorbonne. To help clear his shop stock, which by 1927 was selling very badly he came to a split-profits arrangement with the American mineralogical dealer Fred Cassirer which led to many Boubée specimens arriving in the United States. He was succeeded by his son Nérée II Boubée.1
