Biographie
The son of Charles I Bloud he was married to Marie Gaudin with whom he had at least two children, Charles III Bloud (Le Jeune) and Magdalen. All Protestants, like his father and his uncle Gabriel Bloud, he and his family were listed in the inventory of Protestants converted after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes where they ae described as 'converty-mal' and 'indocile'. (1). In the equivalent survey of 1699 no one by the name of Bloud is listed so they had probably followed Charles I to Rotterdam, where Charles III was married in 1699 at an unknown date in the intervening period.
