Biographie
-
Vissière was a precision clockmaker. Formed by Winnerl, he worked particularly on marine chronometers and ways to protect them from magnetic influences. In 1867 he moved to Le Havre where he built himself a small private observatory. At least one dry-card, hanging compass by him is known. (1)
