Biographie
Apprenticed to J. B. Delure on 21 September 1718 in the Founders' Company (1), he was the son-in-law, and successor, of Macquart (q.v). Instruments dated 1730, 1733, 1734, 1738, 1740, 1742 and 1753 by him are known (2). That instruments signed only 'Cadot à Paris' are also by him is not unlikely, but the relation of Michel Cadot with the Cadot who signed at least three instruments from Lyon (3) remains to be determined.
