Nicolas Manche, was received as a master. founder on the 24 May 1751 (1. He married in 1756 (2) and was active between 1751 à 1775 at least (3).
Nicolas Alexandre Baradelle was placed with him for a three year term on 18 July 1751 by his father Jacques Nicolas Baradelle as an 'alloué'. (4). An equatorial sundial provides his trade sign, and an horizontal dial is dated 1775 (5). A brass surveyors compass is also known (6).
